So.... A new blog.

I'm probably going to try some kind of BR management (no mater what the stakes are) and build it up to a workable bankroll.

I really don't wanna say what im playing at the mo, but in a few months i hope to be playing at least NL50 with the correct BR

As for myself i went to RDS with the intention of railing them for a few hours and then going to the fitz to play the PLHE game. As we went up to steal some T-shirts i saw a list for a 1/2 no limit game, which i proceeded to grind for 7 hours. I had a pretty bad beat for a 350 euro pot with 22 vs 67 on a 267 flop with the turn card being a blank and the river being a 6 giving a better 3 of a kind.

Was brilliant fun and cant wait for the next trip.

Ok, so its been a while since iv actually played poker both online and live. I last played live at the merrion at the start of august in a £10 dc which was ok.

So i'm moving into the new flat on monday 28th which will be cool.
Ill be starting playing for a living at the end of august/start of september, we'll see how it goes. I havn't come up with any stratergy of what i will play yet. Hopefully going to uni as well to do computer science so need to sort that out soon.
I just bought a sweet new laptop, it even has a remote so u can watch dvds and surf the net in bed.

As for future live tournaments; sledge, leknave, rich, horneris and myself are going to a 100k euro gaurenteed freezeout in dublin on the 6th october which will be super cool and theres bound to be a sick trip report.

This weekend i'll be going down to south Wales with some buddys for beer surfing and hopefully sun.

So after a nice break iv got a small amount of money ($30) on stars. This is really just play for fun and I’m not intending on making a huge roll out of it. Ill be re depositing $200-$300 on FTP in the next few days.

We are well on track with sorting the house out for some time in August which is pretty exciting, hopefully we’ll know more mid next week.

I’m looking forward to going to see Leeds Utd’s second pre season match tomorrow with Brent against York city. I may also have a few bets on York races.

Firstly, i didn't play that many NLHE hands, i did play a few plo / razz hands though.

I started the day at NL50 and ended up +$143.20 for that, i only played 378 hands of that which was not to good, here are a few hands:

+$102 he/she didn't hit there draw
+$137 Nice trips that turned into a full house.

I the played some PLO for an hour or so, just to have a break from NLHE. Then i played 1/2 Razz with chip jett and left +$7 lol.

I gave $0.50/1$ NLHE hup a try and found it ok. I ended up +$50.30 over 126 hands, here a hand i liked.

So i ended up +$195.85 for the day
and +$283.15 for the week

I was happily playing NL50 when is was struck by this hand:

I then moved up to NL100, which put me $58 or so down at that level, you know what happened next. I moved up to NL200 with $90 and hit this:

Sorry bit tricky to see. Basically it say im up $87 for 2 days, thats $10 up yesterday.

I will NOT do that kind of thing again.

I want to aim for $200 profit a week, which is only $27 ish a day. I don't want to set a target though as whenever i do that i seem to fail lol. The "AIM" for today will be stick anywhere between 1.5k -3k hands. id like it to be towards the top end of that obv.

I think the bet maybe over unless i decide to give it one more crack in a few days. Leknave will be the proud owner of 50 of my crisp dollars. Sngs are a strange thing, you can do a few of them but then you end going crazy due to extreme boardem. I'm unsure how all the the hardcore sng grinders do it.

Last night i went to my favorite game, NLHE cash. This is what poker tracker has me down as for about 2hrs last night:

So that was a nice session. +77.30 as you can see.

On another note congrats to leknave in coming 86th (i think) in the stars million.

After seeing the Full tilt SNG leaderboard i thought i could get on it for July. Leknave didnt think i could. So a bet was assembled.

The Bet

I must finish in the top 100 of the full tilt poker SNG leader for july.
The bet will start at 0001 (0501 BST) July 1st full tilt time.
The bet will finish 2359 (0459 BST) July 31st full tilt time.
Looser will pay either in cash or on full tilt.

To get in the top 100 i guestimate you will need 2000 SNG points, which is around 7 x $5 SNG wins a day. You will not need to win 7 as you get point for 1st - 4th.

Down $10.75 today, this was the result of a stupid misclick/mistype. I was playing an NL50 table and there was 3 low cards on the board, i decided to raise $2 to try take down the pot. As i typed 2 then enter i hit the 5 key and therefore bet $25 and was called.

Played 474 hands of NLHE cash and came out up $11.15. Not great but i felt i played really solid and didnt cash out with more due to some stupid suckouts.
Here is the break down:
NL$25 6 max +$21.20 203
NL$10 6 max -$10.05 271
Total @ 2 levels +$11.15 474

The problem with NL10 is that they cant fold, they think they are always ahead with top pair.
I got a bit tired of cash at about 530am so decided to play some SNGs. I got to the bubble at around 6am when my mum decided to turn the router off??? ARRGHH. The router decided for the 1st time ever to boot up super slow, i came back in 4th position as the short stack. You can guess the rest.
I then played the early morning HA (PLHE/PLO) and busted after about an hour with King high flush vs Ace high flush.
I then decided to play "The Ferguson" (Chris "Jesus" Ferguson) H.O.R.S.E MTT with 388 entrants. I came 137th which wasn't great. I wish they had Omaha hi instead of omaha hi/lo as i would have taken the full pot with my full house instead of just the hi, o well.

I'm going to leeds with horneris today for a few beers and some Chinese poker at about 1 or 2, so that should be good.

After going on semi tilt after been drawn out time after time in sit and gos, i decided to take a small(??) shot. It ended me up +$22.50. Here are some of the hands:

After hearing a story about a forum charity tournament where the winner kept the money i decided to check the forum out. The forum is www.railbirds.com. It a pretty decent site with free videos, blogs, live chat and more. Another good thing about it is the daily freerolls you are entered in to if you are an active member, these are then entered into a league table which is pretty cool.
The first forum post i read was about hacking avatars, you may recognize my new one.

I may even try at creating a custom one of me.
Im down to $92.75 now, this isn't a worry though as iv lost this through multi table tournaments. Its taking longer than i thought to clear my 100% bonus, iv cleared $25.77.

Arrrrghh

After spending all night grinding i decided to make a post about. Long story short, i went to delete this post and deleted my whole blog. Im a complete idiot.
Ive been mainly playing 5c/10c pot limit HA (holdem/PLO) Ive finally found a game i can beat with this. Horneris and i went on to absolutely pwn the table, i was up to around 4 buy ins at one point.
Anyway the role is around $100, if i can just grind out $10-$20 profit a day i would be extremely happy, this is $70-$140 a week!!
No more playing for a few hours as i really could use the sleep and i have to resort my blog out.
